An experienced physician, with more than 20 years of specialization in orthopedics, Dr. Padilla takes an interactive approach to patient care. He believes the most important aspects of providing quality care are establishing a relationship with patients and involving them in their treatment plans. For Dr. Padilla, knowledgeable patients make the best decisions about their own treatment. As a result, he explains every step of the diagnostic process to help each patient understand their condition; how it developed and how various treatment approaches can improve or repair the problem.

Dr. Eisman has been practicing medicine since 1990 and was board certified in Internal Medicine in 1985. He was also board certified in Pulmonary Disease in 1988 and Critical Care Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 1989. Dr. Eisman received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed a Fellowship at UC San Diego, Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Eisman currently is the Medical Director for the Encinitas Hospitalists at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, and one of the owners of Encinitas Hospitalist Associates. He also serves as the Medical Director of the ICU, the owner of the Encinitas Intensivist Associates, and the President of Connect the Docs Multi Specialty Network. His interests include driving quality improvement through implementation of a multidisciplinary approach to grand rounds.

Dr. MacCormick graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1978. He works in Encinitas, CA and specializes in Emergency Medicine. Dr. MacCormick is affiliated with Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and also serves as the President of Coastline Emergency Physicians Medical Group.

Dr. Gil Q. Galloway is a board certified general surgeon who is fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy). His practice is located in Encinitas, California. Dr. Galloway uses the newest technology to perform all kinds of laparoscopic procedures. This very exciting and surgical technique allows Dr. Galloway to perform major and minor operations with minimal scarring and tissue injury.

Dr. Sahagian is a board certified member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. After a medical internship at the Winthrop University Hospital SUNY School of Medicine, he completed his neurology residency in 1999 at UC San Diego where he was given the honor of Chief Resident. He completed his neuromuscular fellowship at UC San Diego, with sub specialty training in neuromuscular diseases, electromyography and botulinum toxin use. He has continued at UCSD as an Assistant Clinical Professor.
He serves as the CEO of The Neurology Center of Southern California and works with a team of neurologists who specialize in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders. Dr. Sahagian has integrated his years of expertise with the personal touch he gives each patient. He understands that just as every patient is an individual, their treatment plans should be as well. It is this type of treatment that has earned him the San Diego Top Doctor award, Best Doctor award and The Patients’ Choice Award.

Dr. Ryan Meineke is a board-certified member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Meineke received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He also completed his orthopaedic residency at Loma Linda University and fellowship with world renowned surgeon, Dr. Roger Mann in Oakland, CA. He specializes in orthopaedics and subspecializes in complex foot and ankle reconstruction and ankle replacement surgery for traumatic and arthritic conditions.

Dr. Sunil Rayan is a vascular surgeon. He practices full range of vascular surgery but specializes in minimally invasive treatments of vascular disease. He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine / Hahnemann University and completed his residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, General Surgery. Dr. Sunil trained in general surgery at Harvard University’s Medical Center in Boston and completed his fellowship in vascular surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Sunil has been in practice for over 20 years.

Dr. Alexie Nguyen is the current Chief of Staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas as well as the Director of the Post-Acute Care Department. Dr. Nguyen is the President of both Encinitas Hospitalist Associates and Good Medicine Incorporated. She specializes in internal medicine and is also affiliated with UC San Diego Medical Center where she received her medical degree in 2001 and completed her residency in 2004. She is a board-certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
